The Negotiator Awards 2019 – celebrating excellence in agency.

London’s premier venue, The Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in Mayfair, London, gave a very

warm welcome to 900 guests on Friday evening for The Negotiator Awards 2019, presentation

ceremony and gala dinner.

The Negotiator Awards is the leading awards programme for estate and letting agents in the UK and

their suppliers. It is organised by the industry’s only trade magazine, The Negotiator, which has been

established for over 30 years. 2019 year saw over 500 entries to the Awards, a record breaker yet

again, which is astonishing in the current climate.

The entries too were of particularly high standard this year with outstanding efforts in the bigger

classes, such as Single Branch Estate Agency of the Year. New Agency of the Year was another

category which was heavily subscribed and hard fought – a great positive, which shows there is new

blood in the industry and a wave of new talent coming through.

With such a strong entry, the judges added a further accolade in the more populous categories, for

those who had just missed out on Gold, Silver and Bronze with a Highly Commended mark of

recognition, for which commended agents are given a special certificate by The Negotiator.

Hosted by TV presenter, comedian and celebrity, Tom Allen, the 34 categories were awarded, with

trophies and commendations handed to 130 agencies and suppliers. It was an evening of excitement

and truly spectacular providing a touch of ‘Cirque du Soleil’. The evening was themed on The

Greatest Showman, with singers and performers, contortionists, jugglers and show-stopping aerialists,

thrilling the audience from high above the ballroom. The evening continued with dancing, a casino

and more celebration to the small hours. Whether winners or runners-up, The Negotiator Awards,

once again, lived up to its reputation of the Property Party of the Year.

The Awards followed The Negotiator Conference & Expo where over 500 agents listened to opinions

and advice from 28 expert speakers and industry leaders and networked with suppliers.

Across the day and evening the event proved itself once again, to the biggest, best supported and

quality event for estate and letting agents in the UK.
